Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Many are the folk who underestimate the might of a good Brawler. "Where is your sword or your spear?" they ask, only to learn we have no need of such weapons, to their sorrow. 'I will fashion you a fine set of battle-gauntlets, but I will need you to bring me a number of materials. Know that this will not be easy! I will use some of these items to craft your weapons, but others of them will be used to prove that you are deserving of such equipment! So it was for me, and so it will be for you. 'First I will need toughened Huorn bark from the Huorns that stalk the Wildwood, and Wildwood Orc knives from the Orcs in this land. Bring them to me and I will task you to find materials that must be gathered further afield, in more dangerous places.' Background Hunward at Trader's Wharf in the Wildwood has agreed to fashion you a fine set weapons for your fists. Objective 1 Collect toughened Huorn bark (0/4) Collect Wildwood Orc knives (0/16) Hunward has asked you to find toughened Huorn bark and Wildwood Orc knives from creatures in the Wildwood. Objective 2 Deliver the first batch of materials to Hunward at Trader's Wharf Hunward is at Trader's Wharf in the Wildwood. Hunward: 'These will do nicely! The next materials I need you to gather will bring you further afield, to places of greater danger. I speak of the snowy wastes of Forochel, and of the dread land called Angmar. 'Bring me the clouded eyes of worms such as dwell in Forochel and Angmar. I will also need the beaks of the dread-turtles that crawl in Angmar alone. Beware their hard shells, and see that your punches find only the soft meat within! Objective 3 Collect clouded worm eyes (0/20) Collect venomous dread turtle beaks (0/5) Worms may be found in Forochel and Angmar. Dread-turtles may be found in Malenhad in Angmar. Hunward asked you to bring him clouded worm eyes and venomous dread turtle beaks. Objective 4 Deliver the second batch of materials to Hunward at Trader's Wharf Hunward is at Trader's Wharf in the Wildwood. Hunward: 'Well done, my friend! These materials are just what I sought. But there are two more items I will need, and you may find the collection of them most taxing! 'Bartshal the Gorthorog and Gruglok of Urugarth are fearsome opponents. From Barashal, collect a crimson Gorthorog-horn. He is to be found at the dread city of Carn Dûm. You will gain from Gruglok at Urugarth a Sigil of War, if you are able to best him in combat. Objective 5 Collect Crimson Gorthorog-horn Collect Sigil of War Barashal may be found at Carn Dûm in Angmar. Gruglok is at Urugarth in Angmar. Hunward asked you to bring him a crimson Gorthorog-horn and a Sigil of War. Objective 6 Deliver the last batch of materials to Hunward at Trader's Wharf Hunward is at Trader's Wharf in the Wildwood. Hunward: 'I never doubted you for a moment, <name>! Well done, indeed, and in return for your fine efforts I give to you these battle-gauntlets.
